Mimi Pottinger

I am so excited to join WPRC this year as a U16 coach.  My career as a ski pro began in 1986 as an instructor for Seven Springs.  Three years later I traveled to Wyoming and taught at Jackson Hole for the next 2 years before returning to PA to attend Penn State University where I began ski racing.  I was with the team for my entire 3 years at PSU, qualifying for Nationals each year and becoming team captain in my final year.  In 1994 I continued to teach skiing and began coaching  at Whitetail Ski Resort until 1996 when I returned to Seven Springs.  I attained a Level III PSIA certification and a Level 100 Coaching license and continued teaching and training until becoming a full time Mom.

I have a BA in Art and a BS in Art Education and currently dabble in home renovation.

The Pottinger family enjoys skiing, biking, hiking, and other outdoor activities together .

I am really looking forward to working with the talented WPRC staff to help our athletes attain their goals while having lots of fun this season!
